Sheridan Lam, MD

Dr. Lam co-founded DuPage Ophthalmology with Dr. Gupta in 2006. Dr. Lam has been practicing Ophthalmology in western suburbs of Chicago since 1993. A graduate of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Lam completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of South Florida. He completed fellowships in ophthalmic pathology and uveitis at the University of Illinois at Chicago Eye Center and a cornea fellowship at the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Lam is also an assistant professor of clinical ophthalmology at the University of Illinois at Chicago Eye Center. Dr. Lam specializes in corneal transplant, cataract surgery, laser vision correction, presbyopia correction, and laser eye surgery.

When Dr. Lam is out of the office, he enjoys trying out new cuisines, attending concerts, taking cruises, reading books on economics, sciences & math, exercising, and debating Dr. Gupta on philosophical issues.
